The home has a fully fitted kitchen and a double garage. There are 4 double bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and stunning sea views. All rooms open out onto balconies that run the full length of the house. The beach is literally a stone's throw away, however since the house is situated on a cul-de-sac some 500m away from the main bathing beach, you have the luxury of choice between tranquil beach seclusion and protected bathing. The area offers excellent fishing, surfing and diving. There is a good restaurant a couple hundred metres down the road, the rest are 10 mins away in Ballito. Two golf courses (Mt Edgecombe and Zimbali) are no more than a 10 minute drive. Beaches in the area: westbrook - a consistent right hand point break is 200 metres down the road. beachies out front. 200m in the opposite direction is a right hand reef break - you will surf alone if you dont bring someone with you. 200m beyond that is a semi secret right hand point break, great barrels but not very consistent. Ballito is a ten min drive north (about 5 great surf spots and the site of the 6 starWQS mr price pro). La Mercy is a 5 min drive south and consists of a stretch of beachies with no one out 90% of the time. Umdloti and Umhlanga Rocks are each a further 5 mins south and consists of reef and beach breaks. The durban city beaches (among the best in the world) is a mere 10 mins south of umhlanga.

Owner profile: This is a family owned beach house. I live on the Gold Coast, Australia and so although we do holiday rentals, the beach house it is not often used. We are a family of four; Mum, Dad and two Daughters aged 10 and 13 and would like to do some 3-5 day trips to locations in this region. We love surfing and snowboarding and skiing.
