Beaches in the area: Newquay has the famous Fistral beach which attracts plenty of swell from the north Atlantic. We also have Newquay bay which provides many beaches for those days where shelter is needed, particularly on a south westerly wind. In close reach are countless other surf breaks some well known like Watergate Bay, Crantock and Perrenporth and other less known spots which you just need to search and find!! Also accessible is the South Coast of Cornwall for breaks such as the reef break Portleven or beachie Praa Sands, again providing an option depending on the wind direction, all in all due to Cornwall being a peninsular somewhere will always be found to surf no matter what the swell or wind direction.
