House & Location description: We live on the Gold Coast, in a lovely suburb called Main Beach. It is 2 minute walk to the beach and even less to Tedder Ave, where all the trendy restaurants and cafe's are. Our house is a single level home, with a pool in the front and Mango and Avocado tress in the back. It's has 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms and is fully airconditioned and with all the mod cons you want. There is good shopping and fantastic beaches all within walking distance.
Beaches in the area: The beach here is good, best early morning before the wind. Just up the road is the Spit, which is often sheltered. Across from the Spit is South Stradbroke Island, which is generally bigger surf. It's also a great spot for tow in surfing for those bigger days. Down the coast a bit are all those famous names of other beaches such as Burleigh Heads, Snapper Rocks or Byron Bay. Just up the road from our house is Seaworld and a short drive away is Dream World, Movie World and Water World, which are great fun especially if you have kids.

Owner profile: We are originally from New Zealand, but have been living here for 8 years. William is involved in commercial property (ex Avocado grower) and Milly is an event manager specialising in the arts. We have 2 kids Felix who is 8 and Ava 6. We are very interested in the arts and love to travel. We are also keen skiers and travel to NZ every year for a quick fix. One day we would love to go to USA, Canada or Japan and stay for up to a month and ski our hearts out.
