Beaches in the area: Angourie is the first Surfing reserve in New South Wales. It is a small town with a population of 200 people. There is one general store that serves great food and coffee and a choice of beaches depending upon the wind direction. Yamba (the local town/10 minutes by car) has a good golf course, a great Hotel (the Pacific which overlooks the Main Beach) and shops. Angourie is a treasured spot. You can surf,fish, walk through the National Park, do yoga or just chill.

Owner profile: I live in Melbourne but have been holidaying in Northern New South Wales most of my life as my parents have a farm near Angourie. As a kid growing up my days were spent on the back beach at Angourie and it was always my dream to own a house there. I try and spend as much time as I can up there.
