Brunswick Heads features some excellent beach breaks and a little known point setup that works best in winter and is just a 10 minute drive to the beaches and entertainment of Byron Bay. Our place is situated aloft the best gelato shop in the Northern Rivers. In the middle of town so you can just walk out the front door and enjoy excellent restaurants, brilliant coffee or a beer at the local Hotel.
Beaches in the area: Bruns has some great waves to suit all levels of surfers. You'll have to come and stay to check them out - as documenting them too well here may place my life at risk. Of course we are just a short drive away the waves of Byron Bay and Lennox Head which is now listed as a surfing heritage area. The hinterland behind these beaches is stunning also. Waterfalls, rainforest and well maintained bushwalking trails can be explored when the waves aren't on. Brunswick heads is also a popular fishing spot and whales can be spotted migrating during the winter months
